Model LB-801
The LB-801 connects directly to the circulating system of the press with a feeder and a delivery hose. Instead of filling the circulation tank with fountain solution, alcohol and water, the printer fills it only with water. Upon press start-up, the LB-801 “massages” the water allowing for better ink transfer without emulsification. The LB-801 is suitable for web and sheetfed presses, and it is installed in several locations throughout Japan, Taiwan and Europe, including National Geographic in Taiwan.

The ROI was very fast. We saved on the fountain solution and on paper during the make-readies, and, besides, we stopped hurting the environment with one of the chemical products used in the printing process. The printed images are much cleaner, and there is also less ink adhered to the dampening rollers. We didn’t worry about measuring the ink reduction. The benefits already obtained were more than enough to justify our investment.
